Neodesha Rotary Involves Juniors
The Neodesha Rotary Club has a sure-fire way of recruiting. Each month they choose several students to be Junior Rotarians. They attend each meeting and although they miss class, they are expected to make up the work. They also participate in any project the club has going on that month, such as fundraisers. What better way to introduce Rotary to the youth that we need to fill our shoes as we grow older!

The Junior Rotarians for January are Kris Omberg, son of Christina and John Omberg, Kelsa Noeller, daughter of Michelle Ivy and Kelly Noeller and Evan Orr, son of Gaytina and Nelson Orr. Students are required to have a 3.0 or better average to qualify. On January 12, each student introduced himself to the club and told a little about his or her interests and plans. After their month is over, if they desire to involve themselves with a Rotary project later, they are welcome. The students were accompanied to the meeting by Superintendent Daryl Pruter, who also presided over the meeting as past president in the absence of Jeri Farmer, current president, who was unable to attend the meeting.
